Last month, on 25 February 2026, the GreenME project successfully organised a three-hour online international stakeholder workshop as part of Work Package 5 “Co-creation of policy and practice solutions”.
The event brought together a diverse group of participants, with around 50 registrations, including approximately 40 external stakeholders and 10 GreenME partners. On the day, around 40 participants actively joined the discussions.
The workshop aimed to foster knowledge exchange and mutual learning to support the development of green care activities across participating countries. Through interactive breakout sessions, participants explored shared challenges and opportunities, working collaboratively to identify common solutions and define joint actions.

Key discussion areas included governance and frameworks, evidence and research, networks and coordination, funding, qualifications and training, as well as pilots and experimentation. These exchanges provided valuable insights into the current state of green care and highlighted pathways for strengthening its impact.
The outcomes of the workshop will directly contribute to the development of Green Care guidelines, supporting the international upscaling of green care practices and informing future policy recommendations.
